Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science/Software Engineering/related
Language Requirements: English
Additional Languages: Mandarin is preferred but not mandatory, as we are an accounting and auditing firm with many clients that speak Mandarin and we also have two offices in China. Bilingual employees (English and Mandarin) help ensure smooth communication with our China offices and clients.
Experience Required for the Position: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT related position, experience working in accounting and/or administration considered an asset
Terms of Employment: Permanent/full time
Start date: ASAP
Employment Conditions: In-office position. There is no option to work remotely.

JOB DUTIES:
• Coordinate access and use of computer networks
• Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
• Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
• Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
• Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
• Modify Web pages, applets and scripts
• Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
• Install software
• Load printer with paper and forms
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
• Provide problem-solving services to network users
• Implement data, software and hardware security procedures
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
