Sai Transport Group has an immediate multiple job openings for Truck Driver that is a permanent full-time opportunity. The job position assumes responsibility for the day-to-day trucking transportation operations using the straight trucks and trailers to transport freight. This position ensures compliance with all business policies related to cargo and transportation safety.
This job is characterized by the hectic and fast paced work environment. It requires strong professional driving skills along with proactive planning in order to effectively deal with the work flow inherent in delivering safe trucking transportation services to our clients. In addition, this position requires communication with the management, provide updates on loads status and explaining any issues related to deliveries.

We are located at 8 Melanie Dr, Unit 200, Brampton, Ontario, Canada, L6T 4K8. The main intersection is Steeles Ave E and Torbram Rd in the city of Brampton.
About the Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Following are job duties and responsibilities for this position:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform safe driving operation and take responsibility for all assigned equipment, including tractor, various trailers, and accompanying hardware supplies.
- Perform a comprehensive daily DOT pre-trip inspection as well as periodic load inspections and adjustments as necessary for the safe delivery of customer products.
- Record assigned load information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
- Ensures that all driving operations complies with company regulations, regulatory agencies guidelines and regulations.
- Take responsibility for complete and accurate fulfillment of all Federally and Company mandated reporting requirements, including: Logs, accident reports, equipment condition reports, trip sheets, Proof of Delivery forms, Bills of Lading, and other forms as required for given circumstances.
- Loads fuel tanker at bulk fuel facilities.
- Complete and submit all signed paperwork to assure timely billing and receipt of payment.
- Inspects automotive equipment for proper operation.
- Perform other duties that may be required or assigned by operations manager.
About the Job Skills and Requirements:
Following are the job skills and requirements for this position:
- Completion of Secondary School is required.
- On-the-job training including safety instructions will be provided.
- Commercial Truck Driver License and training course is required from accredited driver training institution and provincial government.
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario, Class "A" Driver's License (with "Z" endorsement), and must qualify for the City's Equipment operating permits and requirements.
- A high degree of initiative and independence.
- Must be physically capable of performing the required duties and be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to operate tractor trailers equipped with manual transmissions or automatic transmissions.
About the Working Hours, Salary and How to Apply:
Working Hours: It is a permanent full-time job position that required minimum of 40-45 hours per week.
Job Salary: $35.00 per hour
