Terms of Employment: Permanent, Fulltime (Overtime, weekend if required)

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Wage Rate: $19.00- $21.00/hour (for 40 hours/week)

Education: High school required; college diploma an asset

Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience

Language: Basic English

Job Duties:

• Plan and supervise activities of workers and labourers in planting, cultivation, harvesting, storage of crops.
• Coordinate work plans and programs and make recommendations for improvement, land preparation, fertilizing, planting crops and cultivation.
• Determine soil use and rotation of crops.
• Requisition equipment and materials.
• Prepare work schedule for farm workers and labourers.
• Make reports on time, equipment, materials, and production, keep records of estimates of needs
• Maintain safety and quality control standards.
• Detect and inform about disease/problems in crops.
