Badminton Coach

Job title: Badminton Coach (NOC 53201)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $34.50 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Shift, Weekend

Start date: As soon as possible

 

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience in badminton; Must have experiences of national and/or international competitions and sporting events

 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Carry out management and administrative duties
• Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
• Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs
• Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games
• Participate in coaching clinic instruction
• Analyze, observe and evaluate athletes’ or team’s skills and performance
• Train and coach students both in group lesson or one-on-one session
• Present materials at conference or symposium
• Participate in local, regional, provincial, national or international competitions and sporting events
